Get a priceThe short answer
How much does oven cleaning cost in East Cambridgeshire? A single oven is £70, a double £85, a 90cm range cooker £120 and a two door AGA £140. Racks, trays, the door glass and a blown bulb are inside those numbers rather than added at the end, and the minimum charge is £65.
What an oven clean costs
The whole list, add ons included, with what each one costs alongside an oven clean and what it costs on its own. Nothing is held back for the doorstep.

Both together, one visit
Out in the garden
Racks, grill pans and light bulbs are included, never charged as extras.
Bigger AGAs, and three or four oven ranges, are quoted from photos, from £170.
Commercial kitchens start at £150 and are then priced per job, because a village hall cooker and a pub range are different days' work.
Minimum charge £65, so a hob on its own is not worth the trip.

What is in the price
- Racks, grill pans and trays, out and soaking
- The door glass, including between the panes
- A blown bulb replaced, no charge
- Travel within 12 miles of Burwell
- Catalytic liners cleaned by hand, never chemically
- No VAT on any of it
What changes it
How dirty it is does not come into it. A twelve year old oven that has never been done costs the same as one cleaned last spring, and if it takes us longer, that is on us. Two things do change it.
- An appliance you did not mention. We price it before we touch it.
- Further than 12 miles from Burwell, a flat £10 said up front.
Asking costs you nothing
- Asking is not booking.
- We quote from what you tell us, so nobody has to visit first.
- The price is in writing before you decide.
The number you are given is what you pay on the day. A single oven takes an hour and a half to two and a half hours, a double takes longer and a four door AGA is most of a day. We tell you the likely time when we quote.
What everyone else round here charges
We read the published price lists of 11 oven cleaners working this patch on 12 September 2026, and 3 of them publish no price at all. Of the 18 ranking oven cleaning pages we checked across the county, 6 put a number on the page. Here is what the ones that do say, next to ours.
Every figure in that table sits inside what is already charged round here, and ours is the one you can read before you get in touch, with the racks, the door glass and the travel inside 12 miles already in it.

What people say afterwards
Booked on the Tuesday, done on the Thursday. The door glass came up like new and the kitchen was tidier than when he arrived.
Placeholder name, Ely
Quoted over the phone and that was the price. No fuss, no upselling, and the oven stopped smoking the first time we used it.
Placeholder name, Soham
Took the door apart to do between the glass, which the last lot would not do. Worth it for that alone.

Questions about the price
How do I pay, and when?
When the work is finished and you have seen it, by cash or bank transfer. There is no deposit, nothing is taken up front, and nothing is charged if we cannot get in. The number you were quoted is the number you pay: no VAT, no call out fee, and the minimum on a visit with no oven in it is £65.
Why is a double oven more than a single?
There are two cavities, two doors and two sets of door glass to take apart and put back, so it is about half as long again on the day. That is the difference between £70 and £85. A grill in its own compartment counts as a double, even where the oven below it is a single.
Do you charge more if the oven is really dirty?
No. The appliance sets the price, not the state of it. A neglected oven takes us longer and that is our problem, not yours. The only thing that changes a quote is an appliance you did not mention when you asked.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes, £65. One small item on its own does not cover the visit, so if the job comes to less than £65 then £65 is what it costs. Alongside an oven clean the cheaper add on price applies and the minimum never comes into it.
Are your oven cleaning prices the same in every village?
Yes. The price list is the same in Ely, Soham, Newmarket and every village in between. Travel is free within 12 miles of Burwell, and past that ring it is a flat £10 which we tell you before you book, not after.
Can you give me a price without seeing the oven?
Yes, and we do it that way for almost every job. Tell us the make and whether it is a single, a double, a range or an AGA, and you get the real number back. Photos only help for three and four door AGAs and anything wider than 90cm, where the size decides the price.
